Mezuzah and Tefillin
" And these words ... you shall bind them for a sign on your hands and they shall be frontlets between your eyes. And you shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates ". - The Shema, Deuteronomy 6:6-9
If you would like to purchase a mezuzah or tefillin, have them checked, if you need assistance in putting up the mezuzot properly when saying the blessing. We are happy to offer assistance and guidance related to all aspects of Mezuzot and Tefillin.
Mezuzot should be checked twice every seven years to see if they have been affected by adverse weather conditions, or by folding (which can cause cracks in the letters), or if any other defect has occurred. It is preferable to check Mezuzot which are on the outside of a building more often, due to their vulnerability to the elements.
