Purim

Purim, celebrated on the 14th of Adar, is the most action-packed day of the Jewish year. 2400 years ago, Haman, the Persian prime-minister, ordered genocide of the Jews. His plan was thwarted by Esther and Mordechai - and we celebrate!

It is with great pleasure that we are announcing that there will be several readings of the Megillah - the scroll of Esther.

Furthermore, we would be happy to welcome you like in the previous years - young and old - throughout the day of Purim to our open house at the Beth Chabad to observe all these special Mitzvoth around a Holiday Buffet, with Lechaim too.

We invite you too to the Special art and craft activity for children of all ages at the Synagogue on the day of Purim which will be held at 15h.
